 INDUSTRIAL ( UK ) Ltd is committed to the prevention of injury, ill health and to maintain a healthy and safe work environment as free from stress as is reasonably practicable for its employees and visitors, both within its own premises and at other work places where the company carries out activities including when travelling between the two.
We are also committed to maintain continual improvement of the OH&S management system through:-
Identifying and mitigating risks associated with our activities and implementing measures that will reduce risk as low as reasonably practicable (ALARP)
Complying with, and where possible exceeding the requirements of all applicable legislation, standards and codes
Encouraging and responding to the reporting of safety concerns and issues through appointment of an HSE Committee and Safety Representatives
Consulting with our employees on matters pertaining to their health and safety through the HSE Committee and Safety Representatives
Providing trained and competent personnel in all aspects of the work including health and safety and providing up-to-date training as organisational needs dictate
Ensuring employees are intellectually and physically equipped through proper instruction and training to carry out their designated activities in a safe manner
Ensuring adequate resources are provided for health and safety and that this equipment is suitably maintained
By monitoring our health and safety performance through useful and meaningful indicators by measuring our performance over time against targets that we set
To ensure through implementation of a robust inspection and maintenance programme that equipment is kept in a safe condition and is fit for purpose
To review and revise the policy as necessary and at intervals of no more than one year
